Matte Painting

I’ve always seen matte painting as invisible magic—there to serve the story, not steal the scene. I’ve painted everything from cinematic wounds and winter landscapes to entire worlds that never existed, all while blending seamlessly into the narrative. Whether I’m using traditional workflows or newer tech, my approach stays the same: listen to the tone of the scene, support the director’s vision, and build something that feels grounded, beautiful, and true. I'm as comfortable with traditional digital workflows as I am pushing pixels with new technology.
